General tips to to lose belly fat naturally and get the body you've always wanted
As a woman, I know how important is to be in a good body shape…and it is trough that first impression is the most important. If you are a real beautiful woman on the inside you have to be beautiful also on the exterior because your appearance is the first contact with someone.
When I was 20 years old, my body shape was great, after almost 8 years of playing handball I didn’t had any problem on eating everything, at any hour, without making me worries that I could lose my athletic appearance. But the dream didn’t last! When I stopped being physically active, I gained more then 24 pounds in less then 3 months. Ok, so, the drama is that what I gained in 3 months, I lost in 2 years! The delay have been because I refused to accept the fact that I didn’t look great anymore, even if my friends and family told me that I changed. I know, you will say now “OMG, you are complaining only for 24 pounds, when I have 40-60 pounds more than it’s normal!”
Both cases, mine and yours, the true problem is to realize that it’s not healthy and natural! Way losing all the fun because we could not be able to admit sooner that appearance really count.
Ok, the first step is easy to be taken because you only have to do is to lock into the mirror and see if you are pleased with your body. If not, you can follow this next tips for getting in shape.
I know how easy is to gain weight around the stomach and hips, and is so hard to understand how come it has to go only there! I find the belly being one of the hardest places to lose weight. It gets even harder when we have some activities as jobs, classes…making meal time disruptive and having a real healthy diet seams to be impossible.

- Cut your added fat intake: cut down the amount of mayonnaise, butter, margarine, vegetable oils and salad dressings. You can still enjoy this things, but use less of them.
- Limit sweet snacks to a few times per week: if you give to your body more calories that it does need, your body will store any extra calories that it does not need. You have to understand that extra sugar from sweet snacks doesn’t give you energy, it will only be extra calories…extra fat. You can replace sweet snacks with natural snacks eating fruits or vegetables.
- Substitute red meats for other protein sources: red meat tends to lag around the belly area, being also hard to digest. You can replace red meat with milk, chicken, nuts and fish that are good protein sources that are more easily to digest and your belly fat will be reduced considerable.
- Drink water, green tea and black tea instead of high sugar beverages: sugar beverages are full with extra sugar, and again your body will transform it in fat. The water, green tea and black tea are important sources that clean your body having high level of detoxifying substances.
- Eat fruit everyday: this will help you reduce fluid retention and keep you hydrated. Some fruits are great sources of fiber and vitamins.
- Use lower fat milk products: frozen yogurt is great alternative to ice cream, use less cheese on various things like burgers, baked potatoes and other foods.
